Campus Programs

Together, we will support those unique programs and passions at UNM that engage and inspire nearly 35,000 students on our six campuses: Albuquerque (Main and Health Sciences), Gallup (and Zuni Pueblo), Los Alamos, Rio Rancho, Taos, and Valencia County.

While each campus is shaped by the overarching missions of education and healthcare, each is distinctive in reflecting the needs and nature of their respective communities. Students who become involved in any aspect of student life at UNM are more likely to thrive and ultimately to succeed. However, UNM receives less than 18% of its funding through the State of New Mexico—and that percentage will be decreasing due to the economic situation at the state level. UNM’s schools, colleges and campuses receive very little public funding beyond classroom instruction for the activities and programs that are essential to building students’ academic abilities, confidence and collaboration.

Now you can support a school or branch of UNM that reflects your passions. Many donors find that their passions are expressed in gifts to their area of study or in an area that holds special interest for them. You may choose to directly support the goals of a program, or you may advance experiential endeavors and power new innovations with private funding to a branch, school, college or unit for non-restricted purposes.
