UNM Gallup

UNM Gallup was established in 1968 with offices and classrooms at the local Gallup High School and an initial enrollment of 128 students. Today this campus develops lifelong learners in a context that is responsive to the cultures of its region for 2,600 students each semester. Located near the Navajo, Zuni and Hopi Reservations, this campus has the largest Native American student body of any public university in the world, and awards close to $7,000,000 annually in tribal, federal and state grants as well as private, civic, and corporate grants and scholarships.
